Wine & Design: Runway Edition, inspired by the popular television series project runway, challenges interior designers, architects, and manufacturer representatives to create couture fashion constructed from the products they use regularly in design projects. Carpet, upholstery, tile, plastic laminate, vinyl flooring, and acrylic take on a whole new life as they parade down the runway! This year, the event will benefit Our House, Inc., an organization that finds shelter and provides workforce training for homeless families. This year’s Wine & Design event will be hosted by season 5 runner up of Project Runway, Korto Momolu.

What’s the new how item? Peplum! Designers have interpreted this trend in various ways, from a sexy structure to a flirty softness. This wearable style has left the runway and has been seen all over the red carpet.
